On February 22, 1988, Jim Shelton founded Shelton Machinery on the principle that the provision of total manufacturing solutions to the machine tool industry was a necessity, not an option. Owned and operated by Jim, his son Nick Shelton and Jeff Tucker, Shelton Machinery is located in a 18,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art facility in Fishers, Indiana, a northeast suburb of Indianapolis.
Shelton Machinery currently represents Mazak Corporation, Sugino Corp., Hyd-Mech,
and Soraluce boring mills serving as a distributor of advanced machine tools, drill-tap machines and production bandsaws. We not only provide a wide range of new machines but also offer preventive maintenance, service and parts programs, applications support and programming training. Our facility also houses the Shelton Machinery Learning Center, which provides both classroom and hands-on training to our customers.
